While the pseudo Christains were crapping all over this newsgroup during the
Christmas season, I noticed this article in our local newspaper. Those
interested in astronomy might find it worthwhile.

Now THAT is interesting! But i would think they would be able to come
up with who (company/craftsman) were who built the church, seeing that
especially then, there were usually a lot of records kept, that is
unless they burned up in the flames. Or, at least I would think so.

But then again, and without re-reading the article, I'm thinking that
the ceiling is more of a modern day interpretation, or a re-created
facsimile, isn't it?

OK, I re-read the article,a nd here's what threw me off:

"But the church didn't have a complete set of photographs of the
original star pattern, so Coolen, hoping the pattern reflected the

The part about the incomplete photos. Anyhow, I can see how it could
be re-crreated with reasonable accuracy, now.

BTW, I'm sorry that arsonists burned the place. That's really low!
