Radio frequencies
I am going to take my Uniden Bearcat 245 XLT hand held scanner on the
cruise. What frequencies are commonly used by boaters, ships for navigation, and harbor security. I know you might not be able to give me exact frequencies, but if you give me a range, I can search, and catch them, and store them. Thx. Steve |

It's probably in the manual. I will do some searching to get search parameters. Steve |

US marine VHF channels and their associated frequencies. http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/marcomms/vhf.htm Program those in and let the scanner search when you are on your cruise. Lock those in that get the most traffic. These are the International marine VHF channels if you are taking a foreign cruise. http://www.navcen.uscg.gov/marcomms/apps18.htm |
