Jan 9 - 16, Sapphire Princess. San Diego, points south in Mexico, then
back to San Diego.

I haven't been to sea since 1980. Should be interesting. Hope there will
be enough to keep me busy during the times at sea. Hope my mal de mer
follows previous trips and settles down after 24 hours. Hope for calm
seas. My trips for work were pretty boring during after work hours. I am
particularly interested in leaving and coming into dock, and will find a
good spot to watch that. One that I can see the pool from at the same
time, too.

Or is that ship? Anyway, a BIG boat.

Steve

I've been checking out all the discounted last minute fares for cruise ships
out of Florida to the Eastern Caribbean.
Some of the deals are looking good.

Your buddy Harry has chastised the hell out of others here that take
cruises. He doesn't like it, so no one should.

That's right, loogy...I don't much like the city-sized cruise ships.

So, will you be made at ME, your "little buddy" if I take a cruise?

Psssst! we don't much care what you do or don't like. Though your
declarations of such are somewhat humorous at times.

Sounds like fun. Good luck.

Watch the use of your cell phone on board the ship. We got the nasty
surprise of an extra $85. We were near Cresent City, CA and wifes phone
rang about a friend that was terminal. We thought we were going through the
Cresent City Cell. The ship charged $2.89 a minute for use of their cell
towers.
