Something we can do in the cold

It is gonna be 27 degrees tomorrow morn here in N. FL. so maybe too
cold for boating.
However, great for looking for caves. All the snakes are too cold to
move.
Another way it works is that on very cold mornings with dry air, the
caves actually blow air out that is more humid and warmer than the
outside air. So, one can find caves on mornings like this by looking
for the condensing water vapor near them.
Mostly, it is the snakes being too cold to move.

The rest of us will be hunkered down in our houses with the heat turned
up.

I was thinking of driving south and playing for a couple of days but,
there is no place to go.

They are telling us 2 more weeks of cold weather.

That's it, I'm heading south, way south. USVI, BVI, St Martin,
Antigua, Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia, St Vincent, Grenada...

First we've got to get out of here and across the Gulf Stream without
getting beat up too badly.

Stay tuned.

It's been a long cold winter for us. There hasn't been a hard freeze at
my secret location yet. I've got my fingers crossed.
