What does Senator (D) Kerry's daughter and Senator (R) Lugar's wife
have in common?

Both picked up for DUI.

One is old enough to know better, and one was too young to resist.

The question is, who will take the most heat from the press?

Fair and balanced.

And, frankly, neither event is particularly newsworthy, besides the local

That question has already been answered:
Kerry's daughter "..... was released after the results of a
breathalyzer test at the police station were under the legal limit."

She made the news for being NOT guilty.

The wife of Sen. Richard Lugar was arrested in Virginia and charged
with drunk driving and hit-and-run.

Charlene Lugar, 77, was pulled over in McLean Wednesday night after an
officer noticed her car was trailing smoke and had front-end damage.
Police believe that Mrs. Lugar had hit a parked car, according to the
Washington Post.

She was taken to the Fairfax jail, where she was given a breathalyzer
test and arrested,

She might beat it in court, but was arrested and it appears that there
is sufficient evidence to bring charges....

Sounds like Kerry (no charges filed) got the raw deal, here, being
associated with a drunken hit-and-run driver.

Sounds like someone is paying attention to TopBassDog. Question...why?

Possible so, Gene. however i see you stated that Ms. Kerry "..... was
released after the results of a breathalyzer test at the police
station were under the legal limit."

however she has posted a $5000.00 bail and another source states: That
a "December 21 court date has been set"

One news source states :

http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/...NTfbgD9C2SJK00

"However, a driver with a lower blood-alcohol level still can be
arrested on suspicion of DUI if they were driving recklessly or
officers considered them to be a danger, Harding said.

"Harding said she did not know whether Alexandra Kerry had tested for
a blood-alcohol level above the legal driving limit of .08.

However, a driver with a lower blood-alcohol level still can be
arrested on suspicion of DUI if they were driving recklessly or
officers considered them to be a danger, Harding said."

So even though under the legal limit of .08 a person can still be
charged in California.

I know, Gene. But you posted it to say Miss Kerry was not guilty of
DUI.
