My fishin' buddy John joined me for a trip to Brannan and Decker

We dropped anchor about 0830 at the same spot as the past few weeks,
just off Decker Island and as close to the shipping channel as we
could.

Around 1030 he set the hook into a lazy sturgeon who didn't want to
fight. In five minutes a 55" sturgeon was at the side of the boat. He
was so lazy he didn't make even one run. He was a good looking fish,
but acted very weird. We released him and kept at it 'til sundown, but
no more action for us.

A nearby boat caught a 75" and released it, and another just above the
minimum size, by what we could see, and kept it.

Another great sturgeon day!

I'm wondering how much a round trip ticket from DC costs. We've had
rain for a solid two days, and it's supposed to continue for another
two days.

Odd.

John, you're finally getting what we didn't.

This is the crap from Ida. That hurricane caused by the anthropogenic
global warming. It's getting old. I can't see the grass in my back
yard because of the leaves, but it's too cold, wet, and windy to get
out there and rake them.
