The sardonic is hard to digest? I have accepted the fact that my
children can perish at any time for any number of reasons, and there
is little in this world that doesn't involve some measure of risk. I
resent you and the government hoping to stifle me for my own safety.
Oh golly, sounds like you should be able to own a ****ing bazooka.
Rabbit season is quickly approaching and we wouldn't want you to be
stiffled. You can take out the whole family with one round instead of
wasting so damned many .22 bullets.
You have nothing of value to offer so I'll stop asking. Please don't
waste your time responding to my questions.
I'm tempted to say that pettiness doesn't become you; but, as of this
moment, it may be your only redeeming quality. Who needs a bazooka?
"During the following hours and days, mobs armed with machetes and
clubs roamed the streets, hacking and beating those who held opposing
political views, and pillaging the areas they destroyed. Smoke from
fires set by rioters mixed with retaliatory tear gas. Throngs of
police wielding white batons and gray metal shields attempted to quell
the unrest, firing live rounds, and beating rioters, onlookers or
anyone loitering outside their homes.
The mobs left charred black frames teetering where villages once
stood. A church was leveled in a fire, started after more than 50
people fled to it for safety, then were locked inside and burned
alive."
