It's not for nothing that General George Casey warned against an anti-Muslim backlash in the wake of the Fort Hood massacre. But a whole slew of childlike nimrods, spurred to action by Casey vowing that it would be "a shame if our diversity became a casualty," have taken the stage to decry such concerns as "political correctness." Michelle Malkin complained that this was worshiping "the false god of diversity." Pat Robertson demanded that Muslims be treated as "members of some fascist group." So much good sense, being made! And so, naturally, the backlash Casey warned of has now expanded to include Greek Orthodox priests.
Via Think Progress: Alexios Marakis, a Greek Orthodox priest visiting the U.S., got lost in Tampa and tried to stop and ask directions from Marine reservist Jasen D. Bruce. But instead of offering help, "Bruce struck the priest on the head with a tire iron." The reservist believed Marakis, who spoke limited English, was an Arab terrorist. Bruce chased the priest for three blocks, "and even called 911 to say that an Arabic man tried to rob him." And that's the wages of hysteria, right there. Genocide has been happening for centuries, so what's the problem with having one now? There's a real problem that requires some sort of solution, unless you're pleased with the daily news of so many dead by gun. Arming everyone doesn't seem like a good solution but it's certainly heading that way. Do you have any practical solutions? Consider leaving dead poets out of the conversation for now. Specious? Why should there be a solution if "idiots killing people" is symptomatic of evolution? Why resist evolution's eugenic design? The "dead poets" are the ones that flesh out your ineluctably ubiquitous informal fallacies. I don't think you understand them as well as you think you do. I hope someone close to you doesn't perish or become permanently disabled by a fruitcake who got his gun at a gunshow. Maybe someday you'll grow a ball and free yourself of the obtuse references. Otherwise, you shoud just go full blast into existentialism and not bother feeling a ****ing thing. |

I'm tempted to say that pettiness doesn't become you; but, as of this moment, it may be your only redeeming quality. Who needs a bazooka? "During the following hours and days, mobs armed with machetes and clubs roamed the streets, hacking and beating those who held opposing political views, and pillaging the areas they destroyed. Smoke from fires set by rioters mixed with retaliatory tear gas. Throngs of police wielding white batons and gray metal shields attempted to quell the unrest, firing live rounds, and beating rioters, onlookers or anyone loitering outside their homes. The mobs left charred black frames teetering where villages once stood. A church was leveled in a fire, started after more than 50 people fled to it for safety, then were locked inside and burned alive." http://www.realtruth.org/articles/08...01-africa.html -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service -------http://www.NewsDemon.com------ Unlimited Access, Anonymous Accounts, Uncensored Broadband Access |
