So, why are you here, W'hine? Herr Krause. He told you the reason. Why do you malign Wayne for your reading comprehension problem? |

Here's a rhetorical question for you. If you saw an emotionally disturbed individual coming towards you on the sidewalk, muttering to himself and shouting insults, would you engage him in conversation or steer clear? True story. When I was active in substance abuse volunteer work, I interviewed a homeless guy who would tell these fantastic stories about this famous person and that famous legal case inbetween talking to his imaginary friend and/or friends. He even got into a fist fight one time with one - it was amazing to watch. Anyway to make a long story short, he said something one day that caused me to do a little investigating. Turned out the guy was once a famous attorney - a real big shot partner in a big time Boston Law firm. I contacted the firm, talked to one of the senior partners and the next thing you know, he's off to one of the big time rehab centers - they had been looking for him for a few years. A year later he looked me up - still "crazy" in one way, but he was stable and back at work doing what he loved to do. You never know. Sometimes these unbalanced personalities can tell a great story. And I love a great story. :) |
