You need to read "Golf in the Kingdom" by Michael Murphy.

It may indeed be a decadent sport from your perspective but it didn't
come about that way nor is it fair to paint everyone who plays golf
with that brush.

I suppose you know that I'm feeling wet paint on my face...

Bush vacationed plenty and look what he was able to accomplish.

We ended up 8 years behind where we started.
