I like the '57 Chevy. Not that I want one. But it's just purty. --Vic |

A lady by me made the comment that she thought it neat that someone was able to actually make a boat out of a car. Born after '60 it was obvious she had never seen one of these on the water. Growing up on the river back in the '50s, I saw some pretty interesting boats and motors as they went through the same horsepower and styling race that automobiles were going through. Now that I'm back in the same house on the river, it amazes me as to people seem to want bigger and bigger boats on our little river (only a couple 100ft wide); seems to me most of these boats would be better suited for Lake Michigan. What river? Here's a better link. Fun to look at these boats. http://www.fiberglassics.com/galleries/bitb/ Speaking of river, it seems most of these were inland water boats, and probably weren't seen on the coasts, where sea going is more important. They sure look like smooth water boats. --Vic |
