So? Makes them a lesser evil. Lib-dims think of many things:

- how good is the credit so they can overspend and debt-corruption spend?
- how to tax people more so they have more to spend on corruption.
- how to control people so they don't rebell.
- take guns away so they can't fight back, Lib-dims fear real Liberty.

You are NOT arguing the point, what the "Dems" do has nothing to do with
anything. That tactic is called a "Red Herring."

Lobbyist pay Fed and State politicians for access and influence everyday.
"It's just the way things are done". Anyone that takes this money is a
crook and should be bounced out on thier ass.
I'm certain they get away with this crap because Americans are too wrapped
up in thier lives to pay attention. Lobbying should be outlawed and a limit
set to 3 terms or less.
It's not a Rep or Dem thing, it's both and they may not start out dirty but
most turn out that way.

not working people

just power

So? Makes them a lesser evil. Lib-dims think of many things:

to get us out of the economic collapse caused by the GOP

- how to tax people more so they have more to spend on corruption.

the GOP cuts taxes for the rich while raising them on the middle class

It's the election process that's at fault. They should be publicly
funded and not open to influence by corporations or individuals.

So why did O$Bama opt out of public campaign funding.

Do not need to defeat the Marines. Look what one guy with a single gun in
Sarajevo caused in 1914.-

newsflash: this isn't serbia.

newsflash II: iraq had no gun control at all until the americans came

now go back and get your shinebox.

They had a lot of body doubles and lots of secret police.

Iraq turned into the wild wild west after we showed up Bill.
Because of the brain surgeons at DoD and the White House, when the 400,000
man Army went home (and the police), they all took thier weapons. There were
ammo caches everywhere. The ASPs were left open and raided daily - it was
like a free day at the flea market with ali babbas (local term for thieves)
hauling off truckloads of sh*t. The very same sh*t that is still killing
Americans over there.
My camp was in Saddams garden just outside the backdoor of the palace in
Bagdad and AK fire was a nightly occurance. Whenever patrols checked houses
they'd check weapons and each was allowed 1 AK for protection.

Very true on the CF by the Pols and military, but the question was why did
Saddam still live, without gun control.

No one that could/would have tried to harm Saddam was allowed in the
forbidden city. Saddam, his sons, all thier cronies and the Republican Guard
were the only ones allowed.
Before the fall of the government the military and police had the weapons
and the civilians may have whatever had been stolen from Kuwait during that
invasion or picked up during the Iran/Iraq war.
And remember, we gave the Shiite the high hard one when we egged them into
an uprising against Saddam after the Gulf War and then left them hanging
with no support. So they weren't real interested in doing ol Uncle Sams
bidding.
