But don't count hickens yet, John. It's still raining like crazy

Over 6" in a bit over 24 hrs.

Yeah, you suck.. Tomorrow is the last race of the year. Of course it's
going to rain all night and into the morning. Every single race so far
this season, without fail, it has poured and been a mud fest. So unfair
for The Mouse with the small bike but she never complains...

Man, is she ever. A couple weeks back, and to keep it short I won't tell
the whole story, but it ended with her saying "well, how many other kids
do we know that get to spend every day with their dad..."

She is pretty shook today. If Christina doesn't show up tomorrow, Jessi
could mathematically move into first place for the fall season (last
race) and win it, right now she is in second. At the same time, she is
only a few scant points in front of a better rider for the whole season
and is in a fight for third overall... She just texted from school,
trying not to puke. The kid puts a lot of pressure on herself and is not
deterred by temporary defeats. She will have to pull something out she
has not shown so far to keep her podium.. But I will never underestimate
her ability to do so.. Man, I can't wait till about 4 pm tomorrow... ;)

Great! That probably added an inch or so to your head size.

Last couple of weekends it has been pretty ugly... Fall in the first
turn last week, pinned under the bike, then later run over by a pro in
another corner... ugh... But I will keep you posted.

I guess she'd get frowned upon if she got up and kicked the **** out
of a 'pro', right?

Sure would make a great video though. Don't tell her I said that.

Well, the sky is getting a bit brighter anbut that's not saying much,
and the rain has quit... for the moment. Supposed to be some more
light showers tonight but I think it's about over.

only about 6" of rain later

Well, they are pretty good friends and Chrissa didn't mean to hit her. On the other hand, yesterday was a great race for Jessi, she looked awesome. I did OK too. One small
injury, believe it or not my widdew pinky finger got nailed in one fall. I raced in the parents class with my big red wig and my little KX100.. Got run over only three times. Two
of the guys felt so bad they stopped on the track and I am yelling "get f8888888 going idiot!". I had a blast and I dare say, a lot of folks got a real kick out of it. Hey, I
came in first place............................................. ........................................... er, if you count backwards. My bud Mike came in tenth and Bill came in
right before me in 13th.. All in all, I was on the ground three times from contact, and probably another three on my own. I crashed on the first lap of practice when I thought a
knife jump was a tabletop and ended up in the mud at the bottom of the valley, face first... I also hit the tires on the inside lane, almost took out a ref but actually rode that
one out... More to come.

Oh, and there *is* video.. I will keep you posted ;)

Rowdy Mouse Racing, clinched third place in the womens class for the season yesterday! Yeah, she got her podium in her first year of racing.... One goal down, a few more to go...
