That's pretty cool. Visiting a friend in Nashville over the simmer, I
met this guy:

http://www.businessweek.com/magazine...0/b3963151.htm

He's now at Vanderbilt setting up his department to carry on with his
research into making cancer cells kill themselves. Really an
interesting, nice guy.

Errr... summer, not simmer. Of course, simmer is kind of accurate as
well. :-

Not bad for a little province with less that a million people.

Eh Don. I'm especially glad you posted it and I can't speak for john,
but seeing his daughter has suffered breast cancer (and seems to be
doing well, actually) I'd think this would be great news for him. My
wife has suffered Lymphoma and her test results are getting better all
the time. But when I read what was posted about the breakthrough in
breast cancer research, I was really joyed that this can and probably
will be a great breakthrough for other types.

i sure hope it is.

I'm in favor of any sort of research that leads to discovering more
about the causes and possible preventions and cures for any sort of
cancer. I've lost a couple of buddies to pancreatic cancer, which is got
to be way up there as a horrific way to go.

But, of course, I'm a huge fan of breasts...so anything that helps keep
them and the women who own them healthy, well, that always gets a lot of
attention from me. :)

Don, why interject the personal insults and name-calling into a thread
with such good news?

Goodness, don't you ever tire of it?

I wonder if Nom=de=Plume actually respects you more for that kind of
response? Do you think so?

Nope, other than a Henry Weinhard's root beer. And the NS person had to
leave to get educated, and succeed.

What has Cal. accomplished? To have all the Fags and degenerates
living in one place. Now, hopefully the San Andreas Fault will split
and dump the whole bunch in the Ocean.
