The Onion keeps getting better and better.

Tea parties are for little girl and Glenn Beck believers. Glenn Beck is
seriously mentally ill, as is his followers.

The best that can be said for the guy is that he's a
phony:'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9j_SWbpOH0

I worry for our future with people who think Beck is actually saying
something worthwhile.

I'm no fan of Beck. He's the right's answer to Harry Krause. I have tried to
watch his program a couple of times and give up by the first commercial
break. Same is true for Hannity.

George Will and Charles Krauthammer are my favorite conservatives, now that
Bill Buckley has departed the scene.

Why do you say:
"The Tea Party that counts is November 2, 2010" if you aren't a follower
of that crazy guy?

Tea parties are the ultimate manipulation of conservatives.

unfortunately will, though a responsible conservative, is having a few
credibility problems, with his recent 'analysis' of obama's speeches
for narcissism, and his screw up on global warming. but he does,
generally, do a pretty good job...for a conservative

Neither Beck, Hannity, nor Limbaugh, et al have a copy right on the term or
tactic. The left is the greatest threat to freedom of speech in this
country. the opposition to the "tea party" rallies around the country is a
prime example of my point. If the liberals really did believe in freedom of
speech, they would debate the issues rather than launch ad hominem personal
attacks on opponents.

From what I have seen of the "tea parties," their purpose is to give
voice to personal attacks on politicians and ideas the conservatives
don't like.

Then you have never been to a tea party. Most of these are groups of
people who are fed up with what is happen in Washington.

---Things like we are not going to raise taxes on the low income people
BUT we are going to raise taxes on industry. Any one not living in the
virtual world of their computer knows that this will be passed on to the
consumer. Latest figure I have seen on the health care abortion is 29
billion dollars. With the multiplier effect (Economics 101) this will
translate into 4 to 10 times that amount that the American Voter will
have to pay for medical care.

---Things like we are not going to change your existing insurance plans,
but we are discontinuing the transfer of the Medicare Premium to your
Medicare Advantage insurance company who will raise your premium to
maintain the same level of insurance.

We are fed up with these spending orgies.

Pelosi has the solution. A Value Added Tax would solve our
over-expenditure problems. Of course, it's a might regressive, but
'they' will never know!
