Just went from Key Largo to Palatka on the trawler.

Used the St. Johns River Guide. Can recomend Jacksonville's Landing ,
especially at nite. Lots of Bars, and places to eat. You can actually dock
along its boardwalk as it is a no wake zone.

THe Burger Kind Docks, in Palatka, are a real good spot to eat Burger King
food, but also it's also less than a block walk to a grocery store, drug store,
hardware store, a dollar store and a fresh fruit stand. Good place to stock up.

Found a neat bar/resturant on the river Just south of the Burger King docks in
Palatka bout a quarter mile, called Capt. Bob's. Good food a great happy hour ,
and strong cheap drinks! But then all of Palatka has cheap drinks.

Tow good cheap fuel stops on the ICW where the commercial dock at Ft. Pierce
and Palm Coast Marina, (belive it or not)

NIce resturant/bar in Flagler on icw just north of brige on east bank but you
have to dink in. shallow. Closest ancorage is the cement plant.

Update on cemement plant, the old barge docks were removed, and it appears
something may be going to be built there. Dang.

Hollywood marina $.50, yes 50 cents a foot with electric! walkable to holywood
beaches and area. neat place.
