We had a great trip, some 1800 miles through some beautiful country.
We met at Port Jervis, NY, and rode along the Catskill State Park as
we backroaded our way up to Woodstock, VT, through the Green Mountain
National Forest. Beautiful country!

The next day took us through New Hampshire, where we rode the
Kancamagus Hwy. What a beautiful ride. The White Mountains were a
great backdrop to the ups and downs of this road.

Thanks to whoever recommended the Kancamagus Highway. It was well
worth the detour!

We worked our way over to Booth Bay Harbor and spent the night. We'd
planned to go to Bar Harbor, but one of the Harleys needed a 5000 mile
service. That cost us a few hours.

The next day saw us working our way down the Maine coast, stopping at
Kennebunkport to view the Bush estate. Very nice layout. We got to my
brother Tom's house in Hopkintown, MA, and spent the night.

Yesterday we road the 522 miles from Hopkintown to Alexandria. Rain
the whole way. Absolutely miserable motorcycle weather. But, we made
it. This morning Robert, another brother, took off for Winston Salem,
NC.

Altogether a great ride with no mishaps. Next year will be Kentucky,
some eastern Tennessee, western North Carolina, including the Dragon's
Tail. Can't wait!

Did you notice the hairpin turn I told you about?

Yes! It was a great road, not very stressful for a motorcycle, but the
views were spectacular.

Thanks again for the tip!

"BEND OVER - The 'change' is coming!"

Now, if you would have driven your BOAT 1800 miles....THAT would be
something to talk about. The above story is off-topic ****.
Post it in alt.cheesymotorcycles.

Gosh, so sorry you were offended. Your last dozen posts appeared to be
very on topic, so you have every right to complain.

Dickman is a drunken little desk dweller, plonk him and get it over
with... He can't communicate on an adult level here without turning all
playground on everyone. Oh, not to mention, he's a vulgar little twerp..

He does seem to have several Krauselike traits.
