In the area of political ideas, reportership, statesmanship, results,

Patrick Fitzgerald (US attorney, one of the good guys)

You got to be kidding.
The man who's trying to railroad Blago?
Remember how the FBI and the press just about had Richard Jewel
convicted for the Atlanta Olympics bombing?
I predict that Blago will also be revealed as a falsely accused hero.
Could be wrong though.

They made Richard Jewell rich. Don't know if I'd like to be accused
but at least he got paid for the trouble.

Tom Cruise (wacko, but works hard, pretty cute too)

Freaking Scientology idiot.

Might have meant Tom Kruse, developer of the Hoveround.

Think the taxpayer buys a lot of these via Medicare.
Like I was telling Froggy, the gov provides a lot of funds for sharp
entrepreneurs. Even with Obama in there.
With his skills, maybe a souped up Hoveround that also monitors the
colon using high-tech?
Could work.

Hmmmm... Would the high-tech part be a contact closure, moisture
meter or some sort of video surveillance?

I *liked* Dick Nixon, especially in hindsight. He was smarter than all
the
GOP presidents who followed him (with the exception of G. H.W. Bush),
and
he had balls, too. Imagine another GOP president instituting wage-price
controls. Further in retirement, he worked hard to redeem himself and
his
reputation by being a statesman. Interesting that the only U.S.
presidents
who didn't do that after their terms were Reagan and George W. Bush.

Strangely, I liked Bob Dole. I watched some of the Clinton/Dole
"debates" on
a TV program (60 minutes?). He was smart too.

Yeah, Dole was smart, sharp, and formidable in the Senate. I can't
imagine him hanging out with the current trash leaders of the GOP.

Many things to his credit aside from chosing Elizabeast as his wife.

Whew.... no joke there.
