Well, it's time...

....to do something most of the righties here never do...

....take our boat out for a spin.

I wonder (but not much) when BAR, JustHate, flajim, herring, and the
rest of the really putrid right-wing dumbfochs around here took their
imaginary boats out on the water.

Is this a real voyage or are you just going shopping with your landlord?
Meaning, are you the designated bag carrier?

If he goes out, which is doubtful, I hope he stays in the bay. I'll be
in the Potomac with a potfull of grandkids and the younger daughter.

You are?

Well, golly gee whiz - and on a holiday weekend too which, you have
stated many times in the past, you never do.

Wow. So how many hours you have on it now Harry? Fifteen? Getting up
there - might want to think about getting a new one and selling this
one for exactly what you paid for it.

It's a lot less crowded on the water these days, even holiday days,
thanks to Dubya and Gang...and fuel is cheaper, too.

Fifteen hours? You have me confused with your racist good buddy, herring.

Translation. Take the boat out for a spin around the channel marker and
back just so he can say he was out in the boat.
A lot of trouble just to impress the esteemed members of rec.boats.

Thanks for the announcement, WAFA! Those of us who don't hide under our
desks boat often enough that an announcement isn't in order. Did your
landlord give you the day off from your chores?

FYI - I took the bass boat out yesterday and the CC out today. R&R and
a few things to attend to in the yard tomorrow.

Carry on...

There were a lot of boats on the water today and yesterday, WAFA. The
nice thing about the bass boat is there are few PWC's and swimmers in
the alligator infested waters.

My son and daughter-in-law with grandson in tow came up from Tenn. and
we had too much to do with too little time, otherwise I would have
taken the nephews out for some tubing. They went back to Tenn. this
afternoon so that took care of the rest of the day and after I got
though bouncing the grandson around I was ready for a long Sunday
afternoon nap.

Tomorrow, I will spend most of the day getting ready for the Labor Day
gig. My band plays from about 5-8:30.

Good time will be had by all, but no time to hit the lake.

maybe next weekend.

We went out as soon as we got home.

The afternoon storms ran us off the water pretty early tho.

I took the younger daughter and three of her kids down to a boater's
beach outside Occoquan, VA. Had a blast. There were at least 85 boats
there, lots of kids, and not too much drinking. Everyone had a great
time, and the weather was absolutely perfect.

The Key West got several compliments, but I think they were just
excuses for those scurvy rotted assholes to eyeball my daughter.

But, what the hell, a compliment is a compliment, right?

IOW - He has no children who will associate with him and, based on
today's posts, he did nothing but...post to Usenet.

Sad, but true.
