Don't know if sewing part of that finger back on will work.
A piece of my nose got cut off (no, it wasn't snapping pussy that did
it) and I stuck it back on but it fell back off right away.
Depends on how much blood flow there is to the part.

Fingers can be reattached, depending on how fast you get to the doc and if
it was a clean vs. jagged bite (errrr...). Of course, it might take longer
than expected, given the amount of paperwork and if it's your writing hand.

It isn't difficult to find lots of true anecdotes about "denied
coverage." I'm totally unimpressed with the integrity of the private,
for-profit health insurance industry.

finger, I want to give you some good news. Heard it on CNN.
He's 65. Medicare will cover his hospital/doctor bills.
Let's hope the other guy has dental insurance.
