Remember back when I told y'all about Consumer Protection Safety
Improvement Act and how this piece of legislation was going to affect everything from tag sales to...well, everything? And y'all told me that I was full of what makes the hay grow green (that would be bull$hit for those of you who don't like in farm country). Guess what... http://www.mcclatchydc.com/226/story/74102.html "Scott Wolfson, a spokesman for the agency, said it wouldn't be dispatching bureaucratic storm troopers into private homes to see whether people were selling recalled products from their garages, yards or churches. "We're not looking to come across as being heavy-handed," he said. "We want to make sure that everybody knows what the rules of engagement are to help spur greater compliance, so that enforcement becomes less of an issue. But we're still going to enforce." Double speak for - well, we're not quite there yet, but we will be. Oh - the best part? The company which started this whole mess in the first place, Mattel, gets a waiver from CPSIA. Where are the labs that Mattel will use? Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China — and China is where the dangerous toys originated. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090827/...testing_mattel It’s the era of Hope and Change! We’re all idiots! And that’s why the government is here to help. |

Prime example was the multiple assaults by the Global Oil Cabal to eliminate American competition in the oil industry. |
