Obama Myths
Got another interesting email today. It listed some 'Obama Myths'.
Obama Myth #1: You can keep your doctor; you can keep your health care plan. The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has estimated that nearly 6 million Americans currently covered by an employment-based plan would not have coverage under the current reform proposals. Obama Myth #2: The AARP supports ObamaCare. In response to the President's claims, the AARP issued a statement which asserted that "indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate." However, 60,000 AARP members have discontinued their membership - so one might assume it is a business decision for them. Obama Myth #3: 46 million Americans are uninsured and uninsurable. According to the Census Bureau, of the 46 million Americans who are uninsured: * 10.1 million are individuals who have income of $66,000 for a family of four, but who elect to remain uninsured. * 9.3 million are non-citizens who generally do not pay tax. * 6.4 million who are enrolled in Medicaid or S-CHIP but reported to the Census taker that they were not. (This phenomenon is known among statisticians as the Medicaid undercount.) * 4.3 million are eligible for Medicaid or S-CHIP but have not enrolled. * 5 million are childless adults, mainly healthy, young adults who simply do not wish to pay for insurance. That last one, especially, has been in the mill for quite a while now. The major media never mentions it, of course. -- John H "If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it's free!" --Anonymous |

-- John H "If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it's free!" --Anonymous So Obama is trying to fix what isn't broken. LOL. he thinks the health care system in this country ISN'T broken res ipsa loquitur ----------- Funny, he wants reform, an excuse to bump taxes. Obama's claim to fame so far, is he is bound to hold the record of the most increased debt over time of any president yet. Government is looking for a way to pay for Obama's debt-corruption spend. ROFLMAO!! the right thinks obama has been president for the last 8 years. they kinda forgot about the spending binge the ultra rich went on for the last 30 years that the middle class is paying for you gotta love the right. they have the attention span of a tomato plant I wonder who the right thinks that the pharmaceutical companies and health care companies lobbying in Washington have given more than 500 million dollars too.... http://watchdog.net/contrib/?from=pf...ristopher_dodd There's a start... That's dishonest and you know it. Show a complete list.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - Man, just got back from seeing my dad and I gotta' get going on the bikes and trailer. Had an oil spill this weekend that I need to address... Anyway, I am not dishonest or any other insult you and Jim H can throw at me... I don't have time to dig deeper but would the top contribution reciepients help? http://www.cardiovascularbusiness.co...arma-donations And here is a more complete list, geeze, look who the **** is number one.. At the time, a one year vetreran of the congress... http://www.opensecrets.org/industrie...2008&ind=H4300 pfffftt. I am done fighting the lies from the left here and in the MSM... Thank God the people are not buying hope and change anymore. Maybe they can come up with a new slogan like, we are as honest as Nancy Pelosi It's not an insult. You just automatically put the liberals in a bad light ALL of the time, 24/7. Then you turn around and act like the conservatives would NEVER stoop so low as to take money from lobbyists. NO I DON'T... I have shown you lists of bad repubs when you asked, lists of Bush mistakes when you asked, and now a list of the top recipients of pharma money when you asked, and in case you didn't notice, half of them were republicans.. How much more honest can I be? But it does stand out that Barak Obama is so high on so many lobby groups lists of recipients with only two years in congress. Remember, from Fannie and Freddie he was number three behind only Chris Dodd, and John Kerry. Facts are facts, black and white is not gray... You asked if "we knew were all the pharma money went" almost to suggest it was going to repubs only, and I showed you that you were wrong in that insinuation... You responded by calling me dishonest... Anyway, back out to take care of land lord duties... Later. -- Wafa free since 2009 |

JustWait, aka The Freak, has his head so far up his butt he thinks he's smelling his aftershave, but it's only more of his b.s. that hasn't ripened. i'd buy him a calendar, but it would send him into shock... |
