you bet:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32505284...ew_york_times/ although they've 'suffered' a bit in recent times, the GOP saw to it that the rich had a greater percentage of assets than at any time since the 20's: "The rich have been getting richer for so long that the trend has come to seem almost permanent. They began to pull away from everyone else in the 1970s. By 2006, income was more concentrated at the top than it had been since the late 1920s. The recent news about resurgent Wall Street pay has seemed to suggest that not even the Great Recession could reverse the rise in income inequality " but they've screwed people for so long that even they can't maintain the greed: "But economists say — and data is beginning to show — that a significant change may in fact be under way. The rich, as a group, are no longer getting richer. Over the last two years, they have become poorer. And many may not return to their old levels of wealth and income anytime soon." no wonder we have so many pro-rich sock puppets in this group. the rich are reaping what they've sown and they want us to pay for it... |

It was for corruption, supported by the senate, congress, the president and the Canadian parliament. People in North America no longer work for boats and the extras, they work for the corporations and banks as tax slaves. |

Trouble isn't GOP, its the dim-witts who are doing the corruption spending. In fact, like a debt-junkie with a new credit card backed by the hard working middle class taxpayer. Corruption is a different beast altogether. The real problem is people don't think before they vote and need to look at the latest soap box candidate in a more critial way before giving them a vote. |

Whatever happened to the Pentagon audit that found billions of dollars missing in Iraq? http://www.alternet.org/world/86569/ For scale, even using the Lewin Group's worst case figures, not even the Obama Health Care Plan reaches the amount spent on "Operation Iraqi Freedom!" One gets a pass, the other one will surely be an end to life as we know it. Consistency? Exactly. I'm getting sick and tired of the mantra from the right that everything conservatives is good and nothing a conservative ever did was wrong, and liberals are evil killers of elderly. |
