Hmph.

I perceive that wf3h attacks the Bourgeoisie only because he's not,
nor shall he ever be a member of the Third Estate.

The poor, wee proletariat.

Too much * "Le Qu'est-ce Que Le Tiers état"

That's why he and others like him are so in need of big government.
They yearn for the great reducer of men to level the playing field.
Everyone eventually will be members of the proletariat (except for the
occasional socialist elitist).

what i love about the socket puppets for the rich is how, as they sink
into the quicksand of poverty, they keep telling themselves that, at
least the rich are still rich.

I can't speak for the "socket puppets for the rich;" however, I can
confess that I don't care whether or not the affluent are affluent.
What I hold dear is my right to choose my own direction in life,
including having the personal autonomy to pursue wealth if I should
choose to do so. If by the vicissitudes of nature or by my own
failure I should sink into poverty, at least I can remain satisfied
with the knowledge that I had the liberty to take control of my own
life. Watching that liberty slowly fade away for my children and the
citizens of this country is disheartening...

I'm not required currently to ensconce myself in the "system," for the
most part. That is one of the benefits of personal liberty. But
then, too, your conditional statement is far from being representative
of reality. I suspect that no one would be able to convince you
otherwise, though.

I don't read more than a post or two of yours a day, but I have to tell
you, your strained, overwritten and usually purple prose reminds me of
the bloody awful scribblings some of the students I was forced to
"teach" in bonehead English many years ago produced when I was earning
my M.A.

Usenet is for informal writing. Those who are capable should use their
best spelling and grammar, but there's no need to write here as if your
rectal opening were in full pucker.

I'll take advantage of all liberties at my disposal, and you have
liberties on Usenet, too. You have the liberty to decline to read my
posts.

Though I don't agree with all you say, you sure do get a lot right,
and say it with some wit.
It's always amazed me how many people let themselves get used,
without asking the simplest question in the world.
"What's in it for me and mine? Details, please."
Simple life transactions. Tough love. Call it what you will.

yeah, my mistake. the GOP has invented code words for homophobia,
misogyny, racism, but it's still the party of hate

"invented code words??"

Like what?

Would someone please send me a copy of that memo. You would think that
if you pay your GOP dues and you put the GOP supplied bumper stickers on
your car you would get the GOP code words list.- Hide quoted text -

try 'traditional family values'. that's good for starters

That's republican code?

I remember John Kerry occasionally using that phrase when he was

and i don't. sorry

i suggest, however, you look up 'focus on the family' and see how
often the phrase comes up. since you're obviously uneducated on the
issue, start with 'wikipedia'. they have a decent introduction to the
concept

methinks topassdog doesn't know what the bourgeosie or the 3rd estate
is...let alone how to define who belongs to it.

it's called being a 'poseur'...

Read my words again. The bourgeoisie shall never be a member of the
Third Estate for that is where you dwell. Always envious of those who
may have more than you. Always believing it is a mortal sin to have
more than you.

Not only are you a proletariat, but also "Les Jaloux."

Really, if you don't have a "La Colombe Qui Fait Boum!" on your living
room wall, you really should get one. It fits you well.

It might be (and there's strong evidence for it) that he's confused
the "rec" in "rec.boats" as an abbreviation for "rectal."
