I believe if you check the facts, the American voters owns most of the stocks that are traded daily on the various US stock exchanges. This ownership is through outright ownership of stocks, ownership through company stock plans, indirect ownership with through various types of mutual fund and other financial instruments. So when pelosi killed the market at the end of September 2008 and then the market eroded another 30% after obama was elected it was the American voter who suffered. As Pogo said we have met the financial enemy and they are us the American voter. |
