boating near atlantic city
anyone have suggestions on places to visit by boat? 26' 34" draft.
it's a trawler which means about 10 kts max... places to moor? anchor out? it looks like the water around the islands...long beach island, etc., is pretty shallow. |

I'd highly recommend the Bras d'Or Lakes in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. http://www.novascotiaphotoalbum.com/...akes/index.php http://scenicdrive.capebretonisland.com/ |

The best place to anchor is Brigantine Cove, depth of 5+ ft at the entrance, marinas are pricey. The cove is to starboard before the first bridge: http://tinyurl.com/qy38sr |

The big word you missed (or ignored) is "near". BTW - My boat has visited the port of another country much nicer than Halifax. |
