Speaking of whom, NPR had a great interview on yesterday with John Cale
about Andy Warhol's influence on the great Velvet Underground. Reed
actually fired Warhol as the group's "intellectual manager." Warhol's
birthday was 6 August, but he died more than 20 years ago.
