during the Ben Bernanke interview on the News Hour one of the
questions, the one relating the Fed's bailout of big financial
institutions to giving an alcoholic a fresh fifth of whiskey,
came from a 'Karl Denninger in Florida'. Ring any bells?

Karl used to post here quite frequently up until about 4 or 5 years
ago. He lived up in the Florida panhandle area near Destin and owned
a fair sized Hatteras sportfish, a smart guy who founded and sold an
internet service provider early in the game.

Karl for some time had a discussion board up that *helped* divorced or
separated dads avoid or minimize child support payments. He maintained
it was set up to advocate for fathers' rights, but its real purpose was
there for anyone to see.

I wouldn't dispute for a minute his intelligence, though. Smart guy. Too
bad his IQ was wasted on him.
