Here's one version:

http://cbs3.com/topstories/Henry.Lou...ectflash=false

Quoting from the article:

"It was a marked change in tone for Gates, who in the days following his
arrest gathered up his legal team and said he was contemplating a
lawsuit. He even vowed to make a documentary on his arrest to tie into a
larger project about racial profiling.

In an e-mail to the Boston Globe late Friday, he said: "It is time for
all of us to move on, and to assess what we can learn from this
experience."

The last sentence of the article still leaves the lawsuit issue up in
the air however, as Gates did not specifically address it.

Y-a-w-n. The incident has become the latest diversionary tactic of the
right, which has no ideas, no plans and no clue about resolving any of
the issues facing this country.

Whatever moral rules you have proposed, abide by them as they were laws,
and as if you would be guilty of impiety by violating any of them,
*unless* you are a conservative Republican office holder or minister. If
that is your position in life, then anything goes.

Yes Herr Krause. Diversionary indeed. So with your reasoning, Nixon's
downfall in the Watergate scandal was a sole diversionary tactic of
the left?

STFU, you pompous liberal prick. Don't you get it, NO ONE reads your
cut'n
pastes. I'll bet that your two buds on this group don't even read that
crap.
Instead of posting on usenet constantly, why don't you see if you can
put 10
hours on your boat this season. If you even have a boat.

Apparently it is my rice bowl to bring out "the best of Mike." He's the
boy whose sole boating post here was about how marvelous his kid was
because he got up on water skis.

His alleged children have disowned him. He seems to have a problem with
normal families.
Hehe... he seems to have a problem with normal *people.* What fun he must be
to hang out with on the boat...
Heh.

In about a half hour, we're going boating with a buddy and his
girlfriend from Virginia. Meanwhile, you morons will be wanking each other.

Herr Krause. Will you at least offer to buy the petrol for your
friend's boating excursion? Or are you simply mooching a ride?

Oh for Christ sakes, he isn't going boating, probably going for a
haircut or to drive the boss to the gym...

So what if he is racist? Blacks can't be racist? I'd point out, the
only reason Gates became a topic of conversation is because he is black.
White men, mouthing off to cops, get arrested daily. It doesn't make for
a national topic of conversation, but that's not racism, is it?

Do the arrested white men immediately claim racial profiling and threaten to
sue?
That's what made this a "racist" issue .... until some people woke up.
