This is the one I bought but don't "own". There are pictures of it
around.

2000 20' Ranger bay boat with 200 hp HO ETEC - there are pictures of
it around.

2008 Grady White Canyon 336 with triple ETECs currently located in
Charleston, SC - my kids use it for now, but I'm heading down in
another week for a little vacation. Haven't taken any pictures of it
yet as I want to rent a R-22, have one of the kids run it and take
from aerial images.

Sorry, Moron, but I "surpassed" 25 hours this season by 15 May.
And I don't have a "job," I have a handful of clients, four-fifths of
whom are long-term clients.

Trip eTecs...sheesh. It's bad enough to be dumb enough to buy any boat
that requires *THREE* big horse outboards, but *THREE* eTecS? Well, I
suppose if you are buying eTecs, three is a good move. One surely will
be running when you need to get back to port.

BTW, while I do "contract" writing, what I actually do for my clients,
marketing-wise, is just a "tad" more complicated than contract writing.
As an example, one of my financial services clients recently started up
a new offering for medium to large unions and pension funds. I did the
marketing research in person, via the phone and via email, helped the
client shape the offering to the stated needs of the prospective
investors, prepared the narrative portions of the legal descriptions and
prospectus, prepared brochures, prepared web pages, prepared sales
letters, and prepared quarterly newsletters. I also publicize the
product. I also arrange photography for the investment properties, and
prepare and place feature articles about them.

lot. I had a lot of friends locally who had planes so using one on a
weekend when they weren't using it was pretty common. A lot of them
gave their planes up when the local airport was in major disrepair
before it was bought, then insurances went up, yada, yada, yada.
Rentals got expensive so I only flew a couple of times a month then
eventually I stopped, but I kept the license current by getting time
in a couple of times a year.

But I've always had this fascination with helicopters. When I was
still active in the Vollies, I volunteered with Lifestar every other
week or so just to get to fly with them. I love the things - it's so
cool to look at a spot in a hay field from 2-3000 feet and just plunk
the thing down exactly where you want it.

So I just decided to do it and qualify.

I'll tell you - it's a lot of fun - taxing as it's kind of like flying
in a constantly controlled crash, but it's a blast.

Didn't you inherit that signal from your famous father who owned the
biggest marine dealership in New England? Something about using it to
advertise his "deal of the week"? I think he also invented the fire
boat welcome in New York after some daring adventure - crossing the
Atlantic - or was it the Pacific? Maybe saving penguins in the Arctic?
Something like that.

I get confused - you and your family have known so many important
people in addition to having so many wonderful and heroic adventures
that it's hard to keep track of it all.

Out of all the amazing and incredible things you have done in your
life - the humanitarianism, the selfless sacrifice in service to the

2008 Grady White Canyon 336 with triple ETECs currently located in
Charleston, SC - my kids use it for now, but I'm heading down in
another week for a little vacation. Haven't taken any pictures of it
yet as I want to rent a R-22, have one of the kids run it and take
from aerial images.

You know those things are like bumblebees... they aren't supposed to
fly. :-)

It's funny... I love aviation, and have flown in several private
planes and even one heli some years ago, but I never got the itch to
get my pilot's license. Flying RC is as close as I've gotten... that
way I get to walk *toward* the scene of the crash.

I've had my private license for quite a while and I enjoy flying a
lot. I had a lot of friends locally who had planes so using one on a
weekend when they weren't using it was pretty common. A lot of them
gave their planes up when the local airport was in major disrepair
before it was bought, then insurances went up, yada, yada, yada.
Rentals got expensive so I only flew a couple of times a month then
eventually I stopped, but I kept the license current by getting time
in a couple of times a year.

But I've always had this fascination with helicopters. When I was
still active in the Vollies, I volunteered with Lifestar every other
week or so just to get to fly with them. I love the things - it's so
cool to look at a spot in a hay field from 2-3000 feet and just plunk
the thing down exactly where you want it.

So I just decided to do it and qualify.

I'll tell you - it's a lot of fun - taxing as it's kind of like flying
in a constantly controlled crash, but it's a blast.

Did you know that Harry's father once flew a helicopter across the
Atlantic and back? He got a fireboat welcome in NYC for that brave
adventure!

I would have loved flying choppers. The government offered me a job doing
just that. but was a bad year. Was finishing USAF Tech School at Keesler
and the Army came around offering Warrant Officer rank to fly choppers.
Fall of 1965. Figured was not a real good choice at that time.
