But I like the BW Tom. The first has enough BW to not make it color,
and vise-versa

Too confusing for by analog-type brain...

I like the color, but it appears very dark on my monitor. I am not sure
if it is the exposure setting you used or my monitor.

I think the color one is very nice. I like it because if you look at the
clouds, you get the feeling of a b&w photo but color in the rest of the
photo

Works of art, both of them, and worthy of reproducing in National Geo.
In fact, the color version reminds me of a famous painting van Gogh
completed in 1940, 50 years after he died. I think he called it "Cloudy
Day/Night."

Think I'd go with the B&W.
Seems a bit more dramatic and the overhead cloud a bit more menacing.
I'd rather see a bit more of the near shore...the shadows (from a tree
line?) hide it a bit too much for me.
