What's the party affiliation of everybody other than the Republican.

I'l wait.

Truly amazing.

What's truly amazing is everyone here, except John, was too lazy to open
the link. The proper quote follows:

" Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano, 32, Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell, 64,
and Ridgefield Mayor Anthony Suarez, 42, *all Democrats*; Jersey City
Council President Mariano Vega Jr., 59; State Assemblyman Daniel Van
Pelt, 44, a Republican from Ocean Township; and Assemblyman L. Harvey
Smith, a Jersey City Democrat, were charged by the Federal Bureau of
Investigation. All except Smith appeared in U.S. court in Newark, New
Jersey."

To be fair, I read it but my comments were to the MSM in general. I had
been watching the story all day..

Retro reporting - I gotta love it.

It was changed from the original which was posted this morning as I
posted it - I copied it directly from the report.

Must have gotten a lot of flack over the original report.

I would also point out this which was at the bottom of the report.

Caught in the act, they changed it.

I'll accept your apology anytime. :)

correctly.

Oh, we definitely have our corruption, but I'd point out those particular
pols are being charged. *In most measures of corruption, NJ is only in
the top ten states, measured by convictions of politicians. *It's not a
good thing, but the truly corrupt states don't even investigate
corruption.

It flew over your heads. The original news story, that the Captain
quoted here, only mentioned the lone Republican's party affiliation.
The Demoncrats were mentioned by name only, no party.

They later fixed it (under pressure, obviously) and identified them
all. The good old, even-handed MSM. Gotta love 'em.

Dude - I was kidding - seriously, no problem.

Happens a lot in this politicized environment in the media.

Thunder - it must be 'cause you're a liberal making an apology. You'll
note I got no such recognition from Tom!

I am impressed that you did so.
