I guess most Americans would prefer to be completely unemployed rather
than perform jobs for low wages. It is easier to sit in an air-
conditioned unemployment office waiting for your number to be called
than to compete with Mexicans to mow lawns or fix roofs for $10 an
hour.

There is no unemployment office in Mexico, so you never see unemployed
Mexicans. Unlike Americans, Mexicans who don't work don't get a
stimulus check from the government, nor do they get a bailout of the
lawn mowing industry.
