Up here Bermuda is considered a weed. Most folks here are into tall fescue, which takes water, lots of water. My neighbor spent several thousand dollars having his lawn removed, after doing the RoundUp thing several times, and had the entire thing resodded. All just to get rid of the Bermuda which had found a home in his yard. That was about three years ago. The Bermuda is back. -- John H |

The Bermuda is back. -- John H The Atlanta area is strange because it's in kind of a transition zone. This means that part of your yard that gets quite a bit of sun, you need Bermuda because Fescue will burn up. Then, in the part of your yard that is shaded, Bermuda doesn't get enough sun, and won't grow, so you have Fescue. |
