Cheaper...I suspect the "clearance" crap on the near-giveaway table at
Home Despot. And the colors...sheesh... Looks like he also faked using
masking tape.

I suspect he does far more boating than Harry. *Some people spend far
more time making their boat look "nautical" than they should and spend
less time on the water. *I'd rather be on the water. *That boat looks
like it has been used very well whereas Harry admits his boat looked
'Unused" probably because he did not use it.

Actually, you seem to spend more time fixing the boating disasters you
created than you do boating. Do you ever do a proper maintenance, or do
you just try to fix stuff as it breaks?

I bought 80 gallons of fuel today for Yo Ho in anticipation of use this
week and the upcoming weekend. Normally, I do not fill the tank, but
$2.24 a gallon was hard to resist.

HK does more virtual boating at his computer. What was that "Parker"
boat name again, was it Uh Oh or was it Oh NO! or was it Oh My God
No. 80 gallons of beer will not get you far from that computer.

I live six minutes away from the marina, Mr. Inventor. How long does it
take you to get to that Tolman down near Panacea, if that's where you
keep it?

10 minutes to Lake Iamonia for kayak or canoe, 15 minutes to Lake Hall
for the MiniCup sailboat, 45 minutes to St. Marks pulling the Tolman
or almost an hour to Shell Point to sail the big boat. I can also
take my home built dinghy across the street to tha small lake. How
many of those 80 gallons have you drank so far?

Yes, riding a motorcycle around a dirt track every weekend sounds a
lot like boating.

Well, there's always the chance JustHate will hit a bump, go flying off
his scooter, land on his head, and enter an even deeper vegetative state
than he is in now. That has nothing to do with boating, either, but it
would cut back on the level of stupidity that passes for badinage among
his crowd.

Boat looks well used. I assume Hk boat has pristine paint from not
being used.

Notice if you will, Harry's narcissistic use of several handles here.
The reason is pure and simple. Most of us have kill filed him, and
because of that narcissism, he simple can not keep from standing up
and shouting ME, ME, or MY FATHER, MY FATHER.

I have a half-dozen kill files rules for Harry so far this week. Maybe
the best thing we can all do is simply don't respond at all to any of
his trolls, period.

I promise I won't.

Agreed!

Are we badmouthing Parker again? I thought about getting the 25 with
the pilothouse for coastal cruising. New Orleans to Chicago via the
Erie Canal, perhaps. They don't all have a transom notch. The motors
on some are on brackets or jackplates, whichever. I want one with a
flushing head. Too bad the smallest with that is a foot over width, at
9 1/2 feet. I could name it Wide Load.

You can get a flushing head on the 23-footer, or at least you could. If
it isn't listed on the standard options sheet, call Parker. I am sure
they can accommodate you. My understanding is that you can get a
flushing head in the 23-foot center console model, too.

The 23-footer I saw with the flushing head had the same electric head I
had on my 25-footer.

Parker makes tough, strongly built, durable and utilitarian fishing
boats that can also be used for other purposes. They're not as fancy as
Gradys, but they are just as strong, if not stronger.

The transom notch is a non-issue except for the assholes here who try to
make it one.
