Two men are standing on a hillside, overlooking a lovely valley. One of
the guys is a CEO, and the other is a newly hired junior exec.


CEO: "You see that beautiful plot of land, over there on that hillside?"

JR: "Yes, I do. It is beautiful."

CEO: "Now I want you to imagine a newly built dream house there, can you
see it in your mind?"

JR: "Yes, I can, very nice!"

CEO: "Now I want you to imagine brand new luxury vehicles in the
driveway, can, you see those?"

JR: "Yes, they're beautiful."

CEO: "Now, see a sparkling pool in the backyard?"

JR: "Yes, amazing!"

CEO: "Well if you really apply yourself, if you really work hard, give
it your all....then one day, one day.......that could all be mine, right
after you and 25 other execs are laid off."
