Funny thing is...not a shot was fired in either case. Economic problems were the catalist in both cases. |

Yeah, the corporate whores on wall street, enabled by the government whores in the Bush Administration, have just about done us in. The free market system only works for the really wealthy these days; everyone who isn't is a sacrificial lamb. |

I think they made a mistake...the two otherplaces I looked.. at the Glidden store, it was $18.00 and at Home Depot..$19.00.That was the double insult to injury. The thing reminded me of a limpwristed Looney or JustHate. When used on the 8'-16' extended pole, thebrush flopped around. Anyway, I wouldn't mind paying the price for a realpro piece of gear that would last me a lifetime.. Takes some experience to use a brush on a pole, and if the pole isn't stiff it's even harder. My brother was a professional painter for decades, and I asked him. He's got 2 pole brush holders, and he bought them at a Ben Moore store, and they work fine. But he bought them 30 years ago. He said a good pole is stiff - and unfortunately, heavy. If the brush holder clamps aren't loosening, you've got other issues. In the meantime, look at this for a "can on a stick". Juryrig stuff, but whatever works. I always like looking at tools. http://www.causs.org/tools.html Hyde Quickreach is a good spray stick if you're set up for spraying. About $130. --Vic |
