Yo Turkey Lips Tim!!

Thanks for the weather report and all the 'faint praise'! I agree that
I've been bestowed with some terrific honors. Now, if I could convert
them to fishing expertise, I'd feel even better.

Glad to hear the weather's good, but we are getting to the point where
a little rain would be nice for the lawn.

Gotta go. Riverdance at Wolftrap. Taking the kid and a grandkid.
Should be fun.

Riveredance?

I saw that crew in Branson Mo. a few years ago. It was a toss between
"Riverdance" and " Les Brown Jr. and his Orchestra"

Seeing was raised on Big Band music courtesy of my dad, I really
wanted to hear Les, but the Mrs. won out (naturally). So being already
biased i went to the Irish Cloggers.

After the first 10 minutes, I's had enough for the day. after the next
10 minutes I'd had enough for a year. after the first hour I'd had
enough for a lifetime, and about 15 min before the show (2 hrs) was
over, I was ready to hang myself in the lobby.

I asked the wife how she liked it. she said "Eh, it was "OK",,,

I was sure hoping she would have been ecstatic over the show, because
when she acted mundane about it, I thought that was insult to injury,
because here I was stewing listening to all the clunking around don
the stage, when i could have heard a top notch stage band, jst to find
out that she thought it was just...OK???

it won't happen that way again.

guaranteed!

But I hope you had a great time, John!

and BTW, mine may, but you're reputation doesn't really follow you.

Well, I hate to say it, but I actually enjoyed most of the show. I
didn't like the flamenco dancer, and they could have kept some of the
singing. But when they all got up there and did their tapping and
banging, I liked it. Hell, I could even *hear* it!

I am astonished at how they can move their feet, and how much practice
it must take to do that.

And, the girls were really cute!

choreographer.

Sure you could hear it. Just like big dollar wrestling matches, they
put microphones under the floor so you can hear all that potato
mashing going on.

So? It makes no difference where the mikes were. I could hear it. In
fact, there were times I even adjusted the volume downwards once or
twice.

I've never been to a 'big dollar wrestling match'. But I'll bet the
little Irish girls were much cuter doing their little tap dances.

You're just jealous.
