My resignation

Unfortunately for some, my resignation from rec.boats will be further
delayed.

The buyer for my boat backed out today due to the delays in getting the oil
pans replaced.
The engines are out but the new pans aren't the right ones and either have
to be returned or modified and it will take more time.

His surveyor has recommended that he have patience. The few things that he
discovered or recommended in the survey have been addressed or corrected and
he has given the boat a clean bill of health. But it appears the buyer is
concerned that much of the summer will be gone before he can take ownership
and decided to look elsewhere.

So, my resignation post goes back in the draft folder, for now.

Hey - that's great news. Not the boat thing - that's bad news, I meant
the regisnation thing.

I have to head off to Washington this morning to meet with some folks
at Georgetown, then visit the daughters. I thought, as long as I was
in the area, to stop by and visit Harry - you know, educate him a
little about the "marine suit".

Want to come along? Could be fun...

I wouldn't worry about "resigning" from rec.boats when and if you become
boatless. At least half the regular posters here are in the boatless
category, including your BFF floridajim.

How sweet. Harry is trying his damnedest to resurrect his lost
friendship with Eisboch.

Too little too late. Every day you are reinforceing the fact that you
are a miserable POS.

****ty weather down here, watch the traffic. Many accidents all over
the place.

That also means that the emergency medical service folks are busy. So,
be easy with the education process.

Next time, give me a shout. We could have a cup of coffee, or
something.

No need to resign, there's always a "next boat".

Careful now... harry is armed and dangerous. He's said it many times here in
rec.boats. It's unlikley anything would happen though. When you knock on his
door, he'd be too busy cleaning himself up after he "soiled himself" to be
of any threat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1ieBwfQFbk
