Bloody hell! I can't believe they finally bit the bullet.
This
is
one issue I've had a hard time understanding. Our northern
neighbors
are customarily kind and genteel in their dealings. This
was a
sore
spot and it's finally going away.

Wonder how long it'll take to build the plants...

After years of bad publicity - including a campaign by "Mr.
Floatie" -
the British Columbia capital of Victoria plans to stop
pouring
millions of gallons of untreated sewage into the marine
waters
between
Vancouver Island and Washington state.

Regional politicians last week approved a $1.2 billion plan
to
build
four treatment plants to handle about 34 million gallons of
raw
sewage
that Victoria and six suburbs pump into the Strait of Juan
de
Fuca
each day. The cities are home to about 300,000 people.

snip...

What the $%^%$
We only paid $385 mill CDN for our new 'advanced stage 1'
sewage
treatment
system for a bit more people.
No wonder it broke down and flooded a month after the city
took
possession
of it.

Your politicians as dumb as you?

Holy ****, are you taking over for DK?

That's just Kalif Bill getting an early start on the wine.

Do not judge others by your sons behavior.

Uh huh, Kalif Swill.

More idiocy from Don.

And you're doing an excellent job setting the pace.

More swill from jps.

Hey...hire someone to produce your own material. mine is copyrighted.

Doesn't have his own. Borrowing or stealing is more Bill's style.

Nope. It fit you perfectly. And don probably stole it in the first
place.

Why would you use someone's line that you consider to be dumb?

Doesn't make a whole lot of sense there Bill, like so much of your
patter.

~~ Snerk ~~ That's our Kalif Swill alright!

dumbfock. Swill fits jps. His mind is close to the floaters from Victoria.

How bloody original! Not, eh?

No, old, a turd and foul brained. A Sacramento "Democrat" that votes
Republican. Fortunately, you're the last of a breed that will be gone
soon enough.

The Republicans aren't interested in checks and balances, just the
opportunity to say no and somehow go back to the good old days of hot
wars and big bucks for those at the top.

Not to worry; by being almost totally irresponsible about just about
everything, the GOP is doing everything in its power to assure Obama's
re-election in 2012.

Besides, the demographics are against a party of mostly old, southern,
fundamentalist christian white men.

If you are still alive in 2012, you could lead a contingent of your buds
here to the Soylent Green intake facilty.

The Republicans aren't interested in checks and balances,

What an idiot.. The fact is Obama is closing out the GOP in all
meetings and decisions. He is too dumb to understand how decisions are
made and too corrupt to work in a checks and balances system.
Remember, he is not really all that sharp. He spent his live living
off affirmative action and went straight to Organized crime. Heck the
guy can't even form a sentence without a prompter. Harry loves him
because Obama works within that Chicago politics venue where the haves
get to take from the have nots, where the working man gets to support
the thugs and crims...

Impeach Obama, Pelosi, Jefferson, Murtha, and the rest of the
criminals running the democratic party.... Before it's too late for
America.

Just about anything huh? Yeah right.. There are two reasons we are
where we are. First, Pelosi promised before the elections her first
job would be gas prices. Of course as soon as she took over congress
she ignored the problem and spent the first two years investigating
Scooter Libby while gas prices came up to 4 dollars and broke just
about every blue collar workers bank accounts and savings. That led to
the Mortgage crisis and job loss as nobody could afford anything but
food and gas/heating oil. Even you can see that, but of course you
won't address it. After everyone ran out of spending money, the bills
were next. Remember, the three congressmen that took the most money
from Fannie and Freddie were in order. Chris Dodd, John Kerry, and
Barak Obama! Yes, Barak Obama made that ten year list and was only in
the running for two of the ten years the figures indicate. Imagine
that...

Pretty simple. If Pelosi and Reid had taken care of gas prices instead
of literally hundreds of investigations of politics as usual, we would
not be in this situation at all, period...

Admit it, math is not a grey area...
