....this is what I heard:


The Postal Services created a stamp with a picture of President Obama.
The stamp was not sticking to envelopes and this enraged the
President, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing
and $1.73 million in congressional spending, a special Presidential
commission presented the following findings: The stamp is in perfect
order. There is nothing wrong with the adhesive. People are spitting
on the wrong side.

I also heard that:

As a related result of this, US Congress just voted on and the
President approved the newest stimulus package titled the "Postage
Reparations and Fair Adjustement Act."

This act allows those earning less than $100,000 per year to send all
letters and packages for free.

Of course, there is a small downside for those earning over $100,000
who now have to pay $20,000 per year whether they mail any thing or
not, plus a modest $100/ounce process handling fee for those items
they do choose to mail.



I've asked for a small reduction in my retired pay to ensure I'm
below the six figure threshold.
