Liberty University has revoked its recognition of the campus
Democratic Party club, saying "we are unable to lend support to a club whose parent organization stands against the moral principles held by" the university. Moral principles? Liberty University? Jerry Falwell's college? Moral principles? What a laugh. |

When that university comes begging for Federal Funds...I'd send them looking for their "moral principles" . |

Moral principles? Morality is something you don't have. ****ing an underage girl when you were 12, and then boasting about it in a boating newsgroup some 40 to 50 years later demonstrates it. Truly pathetic. Johnson |

Interesting point. Since they offer a degree in Biology, one wonders what is taught in genetics classes..... |I wonder if the joint participates in the federal Pell grant or federal |student loan programs? If so, it should be disqualified. Not only are they VERY active in receiving Federal Grants and Loans, they cost the taxpayer about 4 times the COA of a state supported university student. http://studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebA...p?tab=choosing From the taxpayer's wallet to Gawd's purse....... I wonder if it would be worthwhile to try to get the school "disqualified." I don't object to church-related higher ed institutions participating in federal or state grant programs for students, but "Liberty" seems extremist and un-American, sort of like a Muslim jihadist school, but for fundamentalist Christians. |

My daughter attends Liberty. She previously went to UMass Amherst for
two years. I have nothing but good things to say about the faculty and staff that I've dealt with at Liberty. The only shovels I saw were in the hands of the grounds crew. While I don't want to be quick to question anyone's morality I will say that the "would you do that if your mother was watching" rule is much more in evidence at LU than at Zoo Mass. Boating content: I will be taking a group of her friends from school on a boat tour of Boston Harbor this summer. They are a great bunch of kids. Steve P. |
