I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of tax on sugary drinks and also sugary
cereals and a cigarette-like warning label on products heavy in sugar or
salt. And while we are at it, a $10 tax on cigars and each pack of
cigarettes.

Whyso? I don't drink that much fruit juice, maybe a couple a week.
Mostly, I drink water with a slice of lemon or lime. Sodapop is much too
sweet for my taste, even diet sodapop.

It is the leftist-liberal way. Sneak in the taxes then expand it. Like
driving a wedge between you and your pocket book. Then applogise later if
you are lucky.
