Rational discussion on Chrysler
and probably soon to be GM. These guys present both sides of the argument on how Obama and Co. dealt with Chrysler, the UAW and the secured investors, both those who received TARP funds and those who did not. Both end up agreeing that it was an unprecedented action, regardless of the outcome and how one views it. 250 years of contract law torn up and tossed in the trash. And Ford, the only auto manufacturer to refuse a government bailout, deciding to survive on their own, will pay a price. I am of the opinion that the battle may have been won, but the war will be lost. Welcome to the new morality of the USA with government controlling industry. http://finance.yahoo.com/tech-ticker/article/244981/Did-Obama-Team-Abuse-Chryslers-Creditors%2C-or-Justly-Target-Evil-%22Speculators%22%3F Eisboch |
