....would introduce this sort of crap:

Republicans Declare 2010 as Year of the Bible
by Jill Richardson on KOS

OK, no joke about this. Rep. Paul Broun [R-GA] has introduced a
resolution to encourage Obama to declare that 2010 is The Year Of The
Bible. Now, excuse me if I'm wrong about this, but I thought 2010 was
going to be the Year of the Tiger.

Is anyone else sick of living in the United States of Jesustan? And, um,
why are these 14 Congresscritters wasting their time with silly stuff
like this when we've occupied 2 foreign countries and our economy is in
the tank? Is it because they think the only possible way out of the mess
the Republicans created is to pray? I mean, that's SLIGHTLY less
obnoxious than being merely the "party of no" but it still doesn't get
us anywhere.

Cosponsors:
Rep. Lynn Westmoreland [R-GA]
Rep. John Carter [R-TX]
Rep. James Forbes [R-VA]
Rep. John Gingrey [R-GA]
Rep. Zach Wamp [R-TN]
Rep. Todd Akin [R-MO]
Rep. Thaddeus McCotter [R-MI]
Rep. Mike Pence [R-IN]
Rep. Louis Gohmert [R-TX]
Rep. Trent Franks [R-AZ]
Rep. Jim Jordan [R-OH]
Rep. Doug Lamborn [R-CO]

Simple enough. If you are so "sick" of living here, why not leave? If
you remember, you've tried to tell others here how well off you are,
and your wife has two doctor degrees. Surely you have the means to
live about anywhere you want. So, you have a choice. You don't have to
live in the home state of the KKK.

Most likely he can't travel outside of the US. Other countries may not
let me enter.

Another example of Republicans wasting tax payer dollars on bull****.

I'd rather fund a study on frog anus blisters. At least we'd gain
useful insight into the origins of certain rec.boat posters.

Well! Just perhaps the congresscritters don't have anything worthwhile
to do while Obamaland is being micromanaged by the "O". The Invasions
are "O's" personal pet projects, and It's likely that Congress is
keeping at arms length lest the blame for the carnage gets shoved on
them. Congresscritters know how to tax and spend. I wouldn't be looking
to them to solve our financial difficulties. Put a wise man in charge of
the Fed. Make our country less attractive to the illegals. Tarriff our
way into trade balance, and put the lid on "O's" cookie jar. The rest
will take care of itself. Learn this slogan Krause. "No more free lunches"

His meal ticket has a nice job in DC. He can't afford to leave.
