You cannot possibly be as politically naive as this post makes you
appear, can you?

Here's my favorite...

And Rep. Maurice D. Hinchey (D-N.Y.) vowed to force the White House to
accept delivery of a new presidential helicopter Obama says he doesn't
need and doesn't want. The helicopter program, which cost $835 million
this year, supports 800 jobs in Hinchey's district. "I do think there's
a good chance we can save it," he said.

"force the White House"??? So why not just hand each of those "workers"
$100K to do *nothing* and save $755 million?

Maybe the problem is that his party can't control him.

The key word is *Force*

The reason there is no common sense in handing out the large cheques
to the employees, thus saving the government hundreds of millions of
US dollars is that it would destroy a chance for a glorious coup
d'état.

This is how Obama comes tumbling down. He hasn't played politics on the
national scene and has no understanding of how to scratch the backs of
those in his own party.

Big military weapons manufacturers are very adept at ensuring that as
many states and congressional districts get a piece of each contract.

Obama is out of his league.

And for that simple reason, WAFA and his buddies will likely remain
silent on this topic.
