A bit close to home..
Didn't see anything whenI walked the dog at Point Pleasant Park noon
yesterday. I came in from getting the boat uncovered and down off it's blocks to be measured for tongue height (re new Hidden Hitch on RAV4) when I saw the news. Dense dark gray smoke filled the southern sky. Funny, I had been out that way twice this week (Monday & Wednesday) at York Redoubt for the dogs run.. Pretty dramatic after dark last night. It's very windy and rainy today. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia...vacuation.html note: checkout the forth picture down on the left side for survival boat. http://thechronicleherald.ca/Front/1119549.html |
