The maximum drawbar pull is direct proportional to tow vehicle weight, of interest mostly when trying to get up a steep and slimy ramp. That's where 4wd and low range come in handy. My 1850 dry weight fish/ski sterndrive is too much for a friends Ford Ranger. We now have a Lincoln Navigator, which is reallly a truck, and rides like one. Heavier than the boat and trailer. The 300 hp four cam motor is overkill. Casady |
