I-90 Closure - apology
 

When I recieved the email with the I-90 closure joke, I took it as a
slam against a President who happens to be black but is treated as a
new Messiah by the major media.

I should have paid more attention to those aspects which could be
considered racist.

I apologize for my lack of sensitivity in post that.

I really wish Obama would come out and tell everyone to relax. We
elected a black guy, get over it. Every reference to his skin tone is
not a racist slur any more than making fun of JFK's accent was a slur.

I did not find this as disrespectful as the GW Bush doormat (at Mt
Rushmore) cartoon but even then I understood it was just a joke.
We really need to lighten up.
