I don't share your philosophy that the social and economic problems of downtown Washington DC fall directly on the heads of the parents. Too many of the parents were teens when their kids were born. The problems with the DC schools have been around for years and years, through mayor after mayor, under union leader after union leader. Tomorrow the weather should be decent.
